Beatnik, the amp you have is a 2-channel amp, with both channels completely separate and easily converted to true stereo. Baldwin used these in organ models 45C, 45HP2, and Tone cab models AC,AD, and possibly others as well. The "Pedal" opt on top is driven by the 7027 tubes and the "Manual" opt is underneath and driven by the 6l6 tubes.

From this e-bay listing it seems that this is a Baldwin 54A amplifier. Looks like maybe the Leslie attachment had its own amplifier built on the main amp chassis. You can easily make a mono bi-amped system with the amp if you don't replace transformers. If you don't mind replacing the output transformers you can make this a stereo bi-amped system.

Been working on the baldwin amp, wanted to put the huge power transformer to full use ,as it powered all the tubes in the organ .So I modified it from pushpull parallel 6L6G's to PPP 6550 and an AnTek At 1008 toriod output transformer that is good for 100 watts . The amp now uses four 6550's ,two 5U4GB's and a 6SL7.

Alternative forum to Audiokarma? I've been a member at AK for years now, and I'm getting tired of the vintage bias. Every time I ask about or comment about something newer I just get drowned out by "OMG look at this vintage Pioneer receiver" or "Look at these old Klipsch I just scroed [sic]".
