    It seems that a bookchip would be in some odd file format or the like to prevent easy copying. However, taking a direct look at the files on the SD card would help. Like Tuffy said, use something like Cool Edit (or Audition or Sound Forge) to record it. After it's recorded it can be split into files and either saved as mp3s or burned to CD.
