AudioEngine P4, Cambridge Audio S30, NHT Absolute Zero, PSB Image, B&W 686, Axiom Audio M2 … the list is quite long. That being said, these are outstanding speakers, best speakers under $200 per pair easily. Kirk in Nokomis, FL January 25, 2015 at 4:28 PM. Note to us (nit-Pickers)

Almost got floored by Cambridge S30 | AVS Forum

Frankly the Sierra-1 NrTs have spoiled me in what I find acceptable as computer audio, which is why I feel compelled to move off the Audioengine A5's. At 9 inches high, it’s the second most compact model in this roundup.

The audioengine p4 looks like it was designed to be a good speaker, and then my best guess is that some idiot in the marketing department said "make them louder and have more bass" at the point of frustration the engineer just pulled the resistors off of the tweeter and move the port tuning higher to create a shouty mess that smothers the lower ...

Audioengine P4 review | What Hi-Fi?

    https://www.whathifi.com/audioengine/p4/review
The AP4s are extremely compact (less than 23cm high), front-ported two-way speakers – the tweeter is a 20mm silk-dome affair, with a 100mm Kevlar driver below. Our review pair is finished in satin black, but glossy white and something called ‘solid carbonised bamboo' are available too. We definitely want bamboo ones next time. Sound bigger ...
