The hd6 5.5 inch woofer is a little bigger then the a5+ 5.25 woofer. But for a 5.5 inch woofer it does not have as much low end punch as other 5.5 inch and not a significant bass boost over the a5+. Output is the same with 50w from a class ab amp. The blackplate and amp looks to be the same as the a5+ wireless.
