    The 2 Creative services that run in the Service Control Panel that regulate the Dolby sound do make the audiodg.exe bleed more memory then normal and exaserbate the problem. If you do not use Dolby sound you can turn off these 2 services and it will quiet down the memory leakage from the audiodg,exe file when its in use. Report abuse

    Replies (1)  Press Windows + X keys and select the Control panel. Type troubleshooting and select it. Left pane select view all and select the Playing audio. Run the troubleshooter and follow the instructions. Restart the system and check.

      Windows 7 audiodg.exe leaking memory like crazy. For the last month or so Windows 7 has been leaking memory in the audiodg process. At first I was noticing a very annoying crackle in whatever I was listening to, I found out it was caused by audiodg using too much memory. Recently it's been causing audio to cut out completely until I restart the service.
