Thank you for replying Christian..appreciate it. =) Well, unfortunately Logic X (and 9) still insists on making the "Scanning Audio Units" ritual on all my AU units (as I understand) everytime on start up (oddly the number of them varies from time to time. My AUs are all located as you pointed out in the HD Library>Audio>Plug-ins>Components.

The AudioUnitCache folder is placed in Macintosh HD / Users / [you username] / Library / Caches. I found out that some script was regularly deleting this cache. My solution was: wait for the Logic Pro scanning process to be completed on startup. Then, locate the folder, copy and paste it somewhere else (I placed it in my desktop).
