The M50s on the other hand have been said to have amazing base but the soundstage is nearly nonexistent. Rich realistic and accurate sound is important to me and I am worried that the AD700s, while they may provide a great soundstage for movies and gaming wouldn't have the bass needed for explosions or gunfire.

However, after reading many opinions, it seems that the M50 is worse for gaming but better at music, and the AD700 are the opposite, better at gaming (sound stage I believe is the word) but worse at music. What I'm really asking here is for reassurance and advice. Also, with the AD700, I can get a clip-on microphone (needed) and a sound card!
