The ATH-A900 are very decent headphones. However they do have a metallic edge to their sound. The bass has great impact thanks to the DADS technology borrowed from its higher-end siblings. The ATH-A900 is similar to the higher Audio Technicas in house sound, however the ATH-W2002, and ATH-W1000 are a significant step up.

The Bose did not sound half as good as Audio-Technica ATH-A900 Headphones. The Bose noise cancelling was great,but I like great sound better. I have looked a 12 headphones or more that are in the $200-$350 range,and these are the best reviewed. If you buy the Audio-Technica ATH-A900 Headphonheades,you will not be sorry.

One design nitpick - the audio plug used on the A900X is the exact same one used by the A9X; while it isn't bad-looking, it is a bit outdated in style, lacks elegance, and doesn't blend with the design of the A900X. Yet, these are the most comfortable headphones I own. No modifications either, they are like heaven. I love the sound as well, one of my favorite headphones of all time. Your "review" is just dumb. It does an injustice, to these amazing headphones. They are brilliant, good stuff Audio Technica!
