Acousti-Stuf is better than pillow (poly-fill) but truthfully, (as with everything audio) it seems to vary the effectiveness with the application. Behind a tweeter, poly-fill works as well. At mid and lower frequencies, A-S works better.

Anyways, the differences between the materials are not quite as important as the ability to measure and fine tune the system.
