    I then tried opening up ProTools 8.0.1 to find out that it wouldn't even open. So I installed the free upgrade Pro Tools 8.0.5. It now opens and asks where I'd like to save my project... when I click on any file, any where it says that my hard drive "is not an audio playback volume". I even tried opening up old sessions and it says the same thing.
