I have a set of speakers, but one of the speakers is broken, so at the moment if I listen to a stereo song I only get half of the music. Is there a way to set the sound output in Windows 7 to mono so I can listen to stereo songs through one speaker? I'd rather do this than buy a new set of speakers.

Left-click the speaker icon in the Notification Area. Click the speaker icon that's located above the volume adjuster/fader. Switch to the Levels tab.
