This review is for the Conqueror which is the stereo version of the Conquest and rated at 8 watts per channel. It has been upgraded with Sylvania NOS driver tubes and mesh 300b tubes and this is an audible improvement over the stock tubes. It's very closed of a set M3/Quests for half of the price. Really no reason to change. Conquest are PSE and on some speakers the additional power is really and advantage. With rock music on my AN J, the conquest gives more dynamic and rythm to the music, more impact in bass range. With Quest/meishu it's more... "shy".

First thing I noticed was that the Conquest are CRAZY sensitive, 0.270v for full output. Well I hope the M3 isn’t noisy since the faintest noise would be very easy to spot on a combination of a 98db speakers and very high sensitive amplifiers. Proper grounding and a dedicated power line is a must for such sensitive components.
