In MC 6, they changed it from "auto gain" to "volume". I get tripped up on that often as I'm constantly switching back and forth between MC 5.5.3 and MC 6. Both "volume" and the audio keyframer button must be active to plot and adjust audio keyframes in the timeline.

In terms of adjusting audio, I've been an add edit/audio mixer guy and haven't used audio keyframes and rubber banding since the old Avid Express days when audio keyframes were pink. Now on Symphony/MC 6, I can add an audio keyframe (surprised they are black now) but can't move or adjust them.

In that case, all keyframes within the marked region are adjusted globally up or down, without changing any ratios between keyframes inside the region.
