    The early 200 was a misguided attempt (I was not involved) to make a pentode amp without nfb. This was very fast & clear but with (unsurprisingly) poor load tolerance & feeble bass. It had 4 x EL84 and 2 x PCC88 preceding those. A modified version with nfb and extra pcb carrying a further valve was introduced.
