    Studio monitors have a flat response, and are nearfield speakers (suited for close use). The A5s have a big bass hump, and been tuned to sound good (smiley face like Comma said), not neutral. Also, whilst they are very good for PC speakers, they sound better more than 3 metres away from the speakers, as the bass really becomes apparent.
