Sonar X1 Audio dropouts !!! I posted here a few weeks back in regards to problems I was having with the audio engine in X1. At the time it seemed the problem was with the firewire card I used because it had a via chipset. I ordered a new Lacie card with the TI chipset and unfortunately the problem (s) still exist.

What can I do to eliminate audio dropouts in Sonar ...

I'm just building a new DAW system for Sonar X1 (and Pro Tools MP9). I'm using an ASRock Z77 Professional M/B, i7 3770 CPU, 16GB of RAM and an SSD for the OS and Sonar, and a 1TB 7200 RPM for projects, etc. I'll probably be at the point of "smoke testing" it Friday, as the SSD is not due in until tomorrow.

I usually work with Protools 10 and Sonar X1. Audio dropout happens in both. I've tried setting the buffers up and it improved, but the latency still being a matter. ElectricPhase Power User.
