Hopefully this should allow Amarec to see the Dazzle as an actual audio device. If it doesn't, then you'll have to go with the y-adapter method to get the audio from the console to your line-in on the sound card. Unfortunately we don't know of a workaround for this issue since it stems from how the Pinnacle are setup.

My Dazzle DVC100 always work fine with Windows 7/8/10 =<1909 until I installed 2004 and also get Inserted Frames with choppy videoplayback and distorted audio. I have noticed in device-manager, the audio device of the dazzle is reported as "Dazzle DVC100 Audio Device" (2004/20H2), but in =<1909 as "DVC100" with the same latest driver 1.08.

my dazzle did this all the time, like 4 times every time before it finally found it. try changing the usb port its in also try plugging it in, opening movie program, then checking. then switch it up, open the movie program then plug it in. if it stil doesn't work try recording without sound, then unplugging and replugging.
