Right now I am using the Realtek ALC892 sound card built into my motherboard to listen to the audio from bluray movies along with the rest of the audio from my computer. I am looking for a sound card with the ability to play Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, and Dolby Digtial Plus audio from bluray movies.

TrueHD can't be sent over standard SPDIF, you need balanced TLS or alike cables for it. NO HDMI will NOT work either, as HDMI is nothing short of slightly more bandwidth then Component Video with standard SPDIF audio. So as far as outputting decoded TrueHD, I highly doubt there is a internal sound card that will do it.

The new HTPC/Blending box has begun the planning and early accumulation stage. I'm sortta stuck at the sound card though. Most people say the on-board sound today is fine but I disagree. Problem I'm having is finding a sound card that can decode Dolby True HD and DTS HD sound and send them out to the Analog outputs from Bluray.

Looking through the properties of my sound devices (trying to use Nvidia HDMI), only Dolby Digital, Dolby digital Plus and DTS Audio are listed. It used to work fine with windows 7.
