This is actually a 2007 Mk2 model with the latest look with the centered CD tray and controls in a cross pattern on either side of the drawer. For $2500 retail this french player feels flimsy. The top rings like a bell. It's so light that pushing the buttons on the face can cause the player to slide.

My audio aero is a Mki. This model allows you to change tubes and the Mkii has the tube soldered so changing is difficult. This integrated amp is AB, it uses the TDA7294 DMOS amp. Nice warm sound comes from the tube preamp. The fun part is being able to change the sound with the different tubes. Included is another nine excellent tubes to roll.
