I'm "trying" to possibly do what you recommend in your thread, but I can't find a similar audio method in the registry. Is it possible to re-enable it just for fixing/testing purposes? Enabling hardware acceleration seems to be the fix for the soundbar issue, wanted to see if I could give it a try.
