    Yes, run at the best system you can, 32 bit float then Export as 24 bit .wav. I do similar all the time because Audacity will record anything going through this Lenovo laptop except I record at bog s 16 bits and export 16 bit 44.1kHz .wav coz its not going to get any better! Dave.

    Re: [Audacity-devel] 24-bit audio and plot spectrum. Hi Doc Nelson I just updated the Frequency Analysis window to use the Interface preference as the minimum on the vertical scale. This enables you to plot spectrums down to -145 dB if you are using that scale for the meters etc. I think you'll find it an improvement.
