The optical audio isn't working at all. Asus doesn't have any Windows 10 drivers listed for my mobo. So I went to the Realtek website to find a driver and downloaded what they had. Windows Update installed driver 6.0.1.7535. The Realtek download gave me driver 6.0.1.7541. However, optical audio still isn't working.

Realtek Optical Output Problem, for windows audio team. I have a Asus P8Z77-M mainbord with realtek alc877 onboard solution which also has 1 optical out spdif. with windows 10 this optical output is Always on , and it should be off (isn't used anyway). it never was on in windows 8/8.1 .
