Audio to Alexa Mini. Mon Feb 15, 2016 3:48 am. The Alexa Mini is a great tool because you can use it in many different ways. It's obviously intended for gimbals and drones but it's small size makes it an (unexpected?) great doc camera for a lot of situations. The problem is getting audio (even scratch audio) into the camera.

Arri have addressed this issue in the LF version of the Alexa Mini and have integrated 2x built in microphones for recording reference audio. The recording level on these internal microphones is fixed, with the left microphone (channel 3) using a +18dB higher gain than the right microphone (channel 4).
