arik audio 3.6 Paul, Last summer i got the urge and ordered the AA 3.6 tube preamp just to see what all the fuss was about. My plan was to run it with a Yamaha M50 amp. It is a nice little unit for the money and has a nice warm sound.

I am looking for tube options for my new preamp - Aric Audio 3.6 which came with 2ea 12AT7's (ECC81's). In particular, can one use the 12AU7's? How about the 6201's? How about the 12AX7's?
