Audio is out of sync by 3 or 4 seconds, regardless of the Video app I'm using (e.g., Netflix, HBO GO). I haven't tried disabling Dolby Vision yet, so perhaps that'll work (though I doubt it, and it shouldn't be required in any case). Sound is "sent" to 3rd generation Apple TV to utilize the optical audio out. Prior to tvOS15 this worked very well. After update to tvOS15, sound and audio become more and more out of sync with time. I solved it by taking the Apple 4K out of the system and just using the Apple 3rd generation TV! More Less.

Whenever I play a video whether an iTunes video or Netflix, there is about a 3 second delay between when their lips move and the audio comes out. If I play the audio through my receiver via the optical out on my tv and it is delayed but also stutters.
