I own the gallo 3.1's on mapleshade stands. driven by YBA PASSION 1000, 250 watt amp. I was using the passion 1000 pre amp. Now using Promitheus reference tvc. the Gallo requires very good electronics. palcement is critical. I don't use the sub amp. I was using a JM LAB Utopia Be sub with an internal 1000 watt bash digital amp.

I'll be a Gallo Reference 3.1 owner within a few weeks. I'll be using them with a Pioneer Elite Reciever, and will eventually add the Reference AV Center, and Dues as surrounds, but I'm sticking with two channel for now. I've got some speakers lying around so it'll be a make shift surround setup in any case. Psyched.

I have read some very favorable reviews of Anthony Gallo Reference 3.1's. These $3,000 speakers are being compared to much higher priced "Reference" speakers. I am in the market and this is obviously very attractive to me. Can anyone comment or validate?
