The phone displays an message saying there was a problem, but the device is still listed in Bluetooth Settings. When reconnected, the Phone Audio is enabled, but the media Audio is not. Whenever i enable it, it disables itself. Media Audio is played from the phones speaker instead of the earphones.

Since 4.3 OTA on my Nexus 4 I can no longer use my RF-MAB2 headset for audio. The profiles are selected for both "phone audio" & "media audio", and the phone audio still works via the headset, but music plays out of the speaker. I can advance/reverse & pause/resume using the controls on the headset but no audio. Tried to unpair/pair . . . same results.

Yes you can. Depending on your Bluetooth adapter on your Windows computer. Connect the two together, find the Phone connection and choose "Control". There you can connect to the phone as "Music and Audio". Of course this can be different on your computer and then I cannot help you. Share.

My car Andriod Auto and bluetooth have no sound when plug in LG V30 with the new Android Auto interface. Works with the prior version of Android Auto. If the phone is plugged into a car that doesn't require bluetooth for Android Auto, the audio works via connected cable.
