There is clear audible decrease in audio quality on 4.2.2 when listening over bluetooth (A2DP). All the higher tones were somehow garbled, like cymbals, or high vocals, etc. I could clearly notice the poor quality on 4.2.2 on my car stereo and also the improvement after installing the fix on my stock rooted GN 4.2.2 (GSM) .

I do a lot of audio streaming over Bluetooth and I find the sound quality to be terrible from the s4. I am somewhat of an audiophile and I never had a problem with the quality from the iPhone. Is this a problem with Samsung's Bluetooth stack or android 4.2.2? I have done some searching and found people complaining about both.

Google still doesn't fix Bluetooth in 4.2.2. I have two Nexus 4. Device #1 has 4.2.1 and device #2 has 4.2.2. The Bluetooth issue with device #1 was that audio was choppy, however, the device connected fine and contacts were transferred fine to 2010 BMW 328. Device #2, with 4.2.2, pairs fine with the same vehicle but will NOT transfer any contacts.
