1. I have tried switching speakers and switching cables, and it is the left channel, whichever speaker and whichever cable it has plugged in, that makes noise. 2. I have tried connecting the speakers to the "speaker B" entries of the amplifier, and I can still hear noise coming out of the speaker connected to the left channel.
