After the volume controller, I use the AMB Alpha 24 line amp, powered by AMB Sigma 25 / 26 PSU's with AMB Sigma 78 / 79 low noise regulators. Chassis, the Modushop slimline U3 (120mm height/4.7"). As I have plenty of space left inside the chassis, I will later integrate the AMB M3 headphone amplifier in my preamp with variable gain (2-17).

Just make special interconnect cables where the unbalanced sources RCA output ground is connected to both pins 1 and 3 of the β22 input XLR connector. The RCA output signal goes to XLR pin 2.
