Said yes, and I now have Amarok 2.2.2. Amarok still unreliably recognizes a loaded music CD. The first two times it did. The third music CD was not recognized. The 'tests' were performed as: 1. Insert music CD. 2. Wait for device notifier to pop-up showing the Optical Disc identified as Volume. 3. Start Amarok via the K Menu. 4. Loaded CD was listed by Amarok.

Hi!! Amarok won't recognize audio cds. Device notification applet shows the option to play cd with amarok when i insert one, amarok pops up but doesnt show the cd. Amarok plays perfectly anything that is in my hard drive, flac, wav, mp3, etc, but no audio cd. Audatious, vlc and kaffeine do play audio cds fine, though. I'm using Amarok 2.4.0 on KDE 4.6.0, opensuse 11.4

Yes Amarok crashes due to the Audio CD bug (and as a result of the new collection rewrite, can corrupt your DB if it crashes during the update), the wikipedia bug isn't really a bug anymore, since Wikipedia has discontinued non SSL access anyway. i'm currently working on getting the Audio CD blockers fixed up, we'll see how it goes with getting those …
