Whether this is due to the preamp’s single-ended design or its class A operating mode, I can't say, but the same thing happened when I had Alternate Audio's CA35 amp in my system. After awhile, I was too busy enjoying music to bother with any kind of critique.

Sorry folks - the Alternate Audio CA35 is not an integrated (it requires a preamp). At 50 wpc, I'm not sure if it qualifies as "low-powered" but Music Hall makes a class-a integrated amp called the Mambo. Here is a link for more information.
