The alpine mrv 1507 to me is one of the Greatest. An amp you never get rid of. Alpine mrv 1507 specs are that it does 900 rms at 4ohms bridge. No specs in the manual for bridged 2ohms. I went through about a dozen or so Alpine MRV-1507 threads. all of them do not seem to apply to this issue. Outputs were shot already replaced those. The power supply fets were good. I can now power up the amplifier with a 15A fuse in line and it will not blow. Also adjusted the voltage from PIN 1 and PIN 6 (VR601 and VR 602) to read +49V and -49V.

X2. I owned the alpine 1507. One of the best amps i ever owned in my life. Solid amp that beat the sh!t out of my Type S/R. you can't go wrong with the 1507, like said earlier, one of the best amps Alpine has made. I would pick the V12 MRV series than their MRD series anyday. I was told that these amps were underrated, but i never seen proof.
