    Did the installation script forget to do something essential? edit: Another reboot (next to the one requested by the installation script) seems to halve solved the lack of audio, it looks like the installation script needs another reboot to get things working. Now to fix the very loud volume, alsamixer (which now works too) says there are no controls for this sound device.
