I would like to know how I could use the same AC3 audio codec from Media Player Classic - Home cinema- MPC in Windows Media Player (WMP). When I playback some files which need a different AC3 audio codec from the one WMP has I get no sound. However I get sound from MPC and other players (KMPlayer, Real Player, DivX, etc) but fuzzy pictures.

I am able to play AVI files which contain AC-3 audio in Windows Media Player. I assume that it is using the external AC3Filter to do this. I am writing an ASF muxer which writes the audio as AC-3.
