    Re: "Failed to open the audio device ..." It's a cheap soundcard with poorly written drivers most likely. Check that you're using the latest drivers for the soundcard first, if that doesn't work then maybe the asio4all driver would be something to try.

    The error message is: Failed to open the audio input device "Mic/Inst/Line In 1/2 (Studio 26) DX." Swapping usb ports & cables makes no difference. The input LEDs illuminate when fed signal on the interface. Ableton just doesnt recognize it. Firmware is most recent & has been forced to update.
