you can do hdmi though, using a dvi-hdmi cable available at most computer and electronics stores (compusa even sells them). keep in mind that you will not be passing audio over it though. i have seen 8600's with hdmi out (pass both audio and video), but not 8800s since they are designated a gaming card, where the 8500/8600 are multi-media cards
