Ok now lets clear something here. I own a HIS 3850 iceQ3 turbo card. It has no HDMI out connector, but it has a DVI to HDMI dungle. My display actually is a 32" HD TV that is HDMI connected with the mentionned dungle to a DVI port. The sound does work. There is an audio driver bundled with the driver CD.

I have an ATI Radeon 3850 HDMI out video card in my computer and the card is supposed to be DHCP compliant. I can play the video portion of the signal no problem, but I get no audio output. This occurs no matter what I play, whether it is a movie or a music video. If I hook the HDMI directly to my TV, I get both audio and video. I am stumped.
