These were the dual 6.5" woofers with a passive radiator and a dome tweeter. The original model 10's had the black tweeter. The later versions had a silver tweeter that sounded better and was much more reliable. I replaced a ton of those old black tweeters. The 10's and 12's were my favorite Polk speakers from that era.

Looking at the Polk 7 and Polk 10 crossovers, I think the only difference was the value of one resistor to attenuate the tweeter, it was a smaller value in the 10. Even though the 7 was 8-ohms and the 10 was 4-ohms, they used the same inductor and cap on the woofer(s).
